Manual inspection is slow, tiring and inconsistent. Inspectors can miss defects late in a shift, and sampling cannot catch every faulty part. Customers do not accept sampling as an excuse for a bad part.
The hardware
An industrial camera with controlled lighting is mounted over a conveyor, chute or inspection table and connected to an edge computer. The model is trained on your parts and defects such as missing threads, burrs, cracks, surface marks or wrong dimensions, and can also count parts.
